After we begrudgingly left Don Det, Ryan and I boarded an overnight bus to Laos' capital, Vientiane. Next was Luang Prabang, a lovely UNESCO city which we loved. Check this post if you forgot what we did during our last week in Laos.
.: Vientiane :.
(On the way there!)
{we had to share this bunk by the way...} |
{bedtime snack we were given} |
{delicious fish and papaya salad} |
{crepe with condensed milk} |
{sightseeing scooter ride} |
{fishing} |
{packed and ready for the next stop!} |
.: Luang Prabang :.
{our private patio} |
{fresh bananas every day} |
{make a wish and set a bird free...} |
{fried rice, potato soup and eggplant cilantro dip with sticky rice} |
{night market} |
{load up from the buffet!} |
{Elephant Village} |
{monks receiving alms in the early morning} |
{last meal in Laos} |
{check out those flavors} |
{train to the Thai border!} |
Check here for the rest of our Vientiane photos and look here for the rest from Luang Prabang!
