Our mid-August anniversary trip to Jeju seems like a lifetime ago. The four days we spent there were the perfect blend of down-time and activity. The places we saw on the island were all new (besides a trip to our favorite Indian restaurant in this world!
) and we had a much different trip than last time. This time around didn't include a four star hotel with a pool or hours lounging at the beach. We wanted to truly embrace the natural and unique beauty of Jeju. I think we succeeded.
Lunch after arrival: kimchi mandu and spicy cold noodles
Sun dried peppers
A long walk along the Olle Trails, spanning the island's perimeter
Jeongbang Falls, the only waterfall in Asia to flow into the ocean
Gear used by Jeju's haenyeo
A hidden waterfall
And that was just day one :)
This looks like heaven on earth. The food looks amazing. Thanks for posting the photos and feel free to drop by me too when you have time.
