Evening Boating

We're back from a sunny weekend at the coast (pics to come!) and into the swing of the week.
There is nothing but sunshine, 70s and 80s in the forecast.  I am a happy girl :)

Tonight Ryan and I took advantage of the gorgeous evening for an after work/school boat ride.
Shocking that he somehow he managed to sneak in some fishing...

Stick around, summer!

The 4th

For the 4th of July, Ryan and I headed to Crescent Lake with friends for a camping trip.  We sat around the fire, sipped on beer and Bloody Marys, soaked up the sun and did our best to avoid the literal hoards of mosquitos.  They won.

Aside from the pests, we couldn't have asked for a nicer weekend at the lake.

We stopped in Eugene to visit Ryan's dad, stepmom and sister on our way home.  Their adorable dog Jasmine provided the entertainment.

Ryan made up for lost time by torturing Alayna the way big brothers do.  But don't worry, she retaliated.

On the Monday holiday we slept late and enjoyed a lovely breakfast on our riverside deck, later sipping margaritas and soaking up the sun.  Friends picked us up for an afternoon boat ride.  After chatting at a neighbor's barbecue, we watched the fireworks that boomed from the barge parked a mere four hundred feet from us.
All cuddled up for the show

What a wonderful weekend.
